Mariah + Matt | May 31, 2015 | The Barn at Gibbet Hill | Groton, Massachusetts

Let me first say, Matt and Mariah's travel-themed wedding reception was an absolute blast to help create.  With the guidance of Whim Events, we put together a variety of pieces for the couple's day of signage.

We started with hand painted chalkboard style boards for their signature drink menu, the "Colonel's Tea" and then carried the design style through to their quirky "Dance Floor Rules" encouraging guests to bust a move!

The late spring wedding at the Barn at Gibbet Hill in Groton, Massachusetts, showed off the couple's upbeat personalities and their love for travel. With Whim Events providing the thoughtful decor, the natural yet elegant barn backdrop was the perfect setting for the miniature globe table numbers that we hand-painted and the compass escort cards that we calligraphed.  The couple also included other sweet and personal touches like Yennygrams calligraphed thank you notes for the bridesmaids and an oversized map with the hand-painted inscription, "Adventure Awaits," which hung over the dessert table alluding to the adventures yet to come for this wonderful couple.
