Reese + Bill

Reese and Bill came to me as friends of a friend from college.  In fact, Reese is a fellow Terrier (Go BU!) who works in the Television industry. The couple lives in Brooklyn and works in Manhattan, and when we first met all they needed at that point was a calligrapher and an address stamp.  After setting them up with a clean and calligraphed stamp and addressing their invitations, we were so happy to expand upon that work and deliver some unique signage for their wedding reception.  From the carefully styled place cards that were paired with gold safari animals to their personalized bar menu (they even served a beer on tap that was brewed by the brother of the bride!), Reese and Bill's 501 Union wedding in the heart of Brooklyn offered an unforgettable experience for their guests.

The event space at 501 Union originally served as a place for the restoration of classic cars during the heyday of the automotive industry. After almost 100 years, the building has been resurrected as a quiet Brooklyn landmark as it now acts as a hub for some of the borough's most distinguished neighborhoods.   It's uniquely industrial open space provided a wonderful backdrop for Reese and Bill's wedding day.
